I fed Annie blue buffalo and taste of the wild through out her pregnancy and had planned to start the puppies on that. Then I realized, there is no way their future owners will be shipping dog food in for the pups, So a scoured the local stores, Theisens, feed stores and Wal-mart and after some testing settled on Purina one (pro plan is better but Annie refuses it) she eats the Purina one better then any other food she has ever eaten. That said she and they do get blue buffalo canned food but Purina One Puppy food is the kibble. I want them to be familiar with what they will be eating long run and we live in rural Iowa. People around here are just starting to realize that Dog Chow isn't the best food for their dogs!
