5 week old Rouen and Pekin ducks

Hi. I have 2 Rouen ducks and 2 Pekin ducks that are 5 weeks old. I am trying to figure out if they are male or female. One of the Rouens has a shiny-ness to it and the other one is just a dull color. Does this mean one is male and one is female? I’m also going to attach videos of them so you can maybe voice sex them. I don’t know if they are old enough for that yet or not. Thanks!!

They are all adorable. At 5 weeks you should be hearing some honk like quacks from the females drakes peep longer don't really ever quack just make raspy sounds http://www.majesticwaterfowl.org/artquacks.htm
One thing I see in your brooder is your heat lamp looks like it is so low someone may get burned on the head.

Thanks! I’ve been trying to listen. I think one of the rouens is a male and one of the Perkins also. So not sure what I’m going to do yet.

Yes, I’m going to get rid of that lamp soon. It’s been off during the day so they don’t really need it.

Another way is to pick each one up individually and walk off from the rest. Usually they will put up a fuss and maybe you'll hear some quacks.
