Hi all
I live near Jackson, CA, and I have a 55Flowery boy that has outgrown my coop, and he is getting picked on by my other roos/hens.
There isn't enough meat on him to "process", and frankly, I don't have the kahonies to off any of my chickens (unless I don't like them
Him and his two sisters hatched out of HUGE eggs, I'm not sure if this trait passes down from the roo, but I would imagine its a genetic thing.
I have two pics of him from a month ago... His tail is now almost full, and he started crowing a week ago (he's 4months old). But like I said, he is the bottom of the totem pole. He doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body, and he is super people friendly. We named him Jon Snow.
If possible, I would like to trade for a hen. Doesn't matter what breed/size, my hens are generally extremely docile. I keep seramas, bantams, and average sized chickens, all different breeds, in the same coop. Problem is my rooster ratio is out of balance.
Send me an IM if your interested
We have a storm blowing through atm-
I'll have more recent/better pics in about 3 days...
