59 eggs on day 15

First time hatching quail. I have 59 coturnix quail eggs on day 15 most are jumbo brown, and there is about a dozen "surprise" color eggs mixed in. I will update with photos of the babies in a few days!

You will love them! They are such cute little things, but they grow so incredibly fast so take lots of photos. Can't wait to see them!

Day 16. I keep watching them, looking for movement or pips...nothing yet. It's so hard to wait patiently. *sigh*

So today is the day! Or it's supposed to be... I saw a few eggs twitch a few times.

I have to take my daughter to the doctor today. Who thinks that they will hatch while I am away?

OMG. Someone come handcuff me away from the incubator.

I think...thiiiiiinnnnkkk I see one pip. The eggs are so small, and my viewing windows aren't the best so it's hard to tell. I recounted my days and day 17 is just starting now... So it could be another 2 days before I see any real action.

Ahhhhhhhhh!

what kind of incubator are you using?? I am starting to raise quail at school with my agriculture club but am having trouble with my incubator would like to upgrade but i am on a very limited budget.... Thanks for any input cant wait to see the chicks that hatch out of your batch!
