5th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2014 Hatch-A-Long

Oh why not? I said my silkies would be my last hatch of the year - and they will be because these guys won't hatch till next year

I like the way you think! Great reasoning in my opinion!!

Oh yeah….not sure if I've mentioned before, but, Orpingtons are the VERY best!

I took some pics of my one of my Black Pullet just this evening…the light was a bit off. And this girl has the oddest tail shape…I really must post her on the Orp thread and see what the experts thinkj.

What a pretty lady.

I just love all the rotund fluffness they have going on.

Bantumbury, my little buff chick has a buff orp momma & an EE daddy. Puffiest cheeks ever!

I actually get calls for birds year round. I try to keep several age groups available to choose from.

If only the quail pen was ready! The semester doesn't end for another 2 weeks, and I don't think I can finish it quickly enough, but we'll see. I really want to join the hatch-a-long!!!

Mine are all covered by blue & green egg roos so I sell them as EE/OE. They actually sell pretty well. I get $3 each at hatch & raise prices a little at a time as they grow. A 10 wk old pullet goes for about $8-10.
