I would like to join in the fun!

This is our first hatch and we have 32 eggs. 21 are shipped + 11 barnyard mixes. We actually set them Friday because our Christmas is the 27th (dh working...airlines). I planned it for Christmas this year because our older dd will be home from college for the weekend and can enjoy it too. (Maybe she will stay home longer lol!)

One question, though...I have a Brinsea Octagon 20 and the glass thermometer inside says 101 and the Walmart Acurite thermometer says 99. It is the kind where you put one part outside and have the monitor inside with both indoor and outdoor temps/humidity. Which one should I trust?

Brinsea is very accurate so it is very likely running at 99.5. The usual recommendation is to test hatch with eggs that are not special and see how it works. Use the pdf I posted(I will add it to the first page too) to figure out what adjustments need to be made.

Find a thermometer that read tenths. Incubator warehouse and Brinsea sell ones that measure in tenths.

Welcome!

I think I'd trust the brinsea glass thermometer. I use to have an octagon 20 eco. I found the glass thermometer to be very accurate. I had excellent hatch rates with that incubator. Sometimes the digital thermometers can be off. I'd get another digital thermometer to see where you're running. I highly recommend the brisnea spot check thermometer. You can also try taking the temp down a tiny bit and see what they both read.

I have a tracking number, but I don't know where they are! USPS website says shipping order received....They shipped on wed the 4th, I hope they arrive tomorrow.

Mine were scheduled for delivery yesterday, but didn't come. I am hoping they will arrive tomorrow. I am putting a heating blanket and a sign out on the porch asking the carrier to put the box in the heating blanket so it doesn't freeze before I get home. Last tracking update they departed san diego on the 6th. USPS says they were shipped on the 5th, 2 day priority, so the sender tried to avoid the weekend delay, but the post office dropped the ball.

At least you know where they are! This is your first hatch too? I understand marans are challenging to hatch. I think we will be fine, we have a great support system!
