Wondering how I join this. Would love to start a hatch of some Buff Orpington Eggs. If I can get some from my girls since they are hardly laying currently. Do I just comment here I would like to join in?

I am near Frederick and could hook you up with a few. Don't know what I have right now or will have by then...Swedish Flowr Hens object strongly to being penned up and will refuse to lay for weeks and weeks (sigh...guess how I know)

I am trying to join you all!  Haven't found a local source for eggs, yet, but working on it. 

Not sayin this is a tactic for everyone....but I have been known to drive around listening for crowing, because where there's smoke, there's fire and where there's crowing....there's fertile eggs

The movie did not work out, got to the theatre, bought tickets, outrageously priced popcorn....and then, there were NO seats left. I've not had that happen to me before. They gave us our money back, we're now eating outrageously priced popcorn and watching 'Turbo' at home. Boo.

Greetings all! I plan to join the NYD hatchalong - only hens here laying are Silkies, so that's what I will be hatching unless someone else surprises me. I set 33 eggs today, laid in the past week, will set again next weekend and the following, then will set on the 11th (unless someone wants to swap/buy eggs any of those days - would love to have some white egg layers), although earlier than noon, so I can be a part of this - sounds like fun!

I am just being picky about breed. I am hoping for dark-egg layers so I can keep them and have them fit into my evil chicken plan.
