5th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2014 Hatch-A-Long

my humidity was at 20% when i woke up this morning so i added some water and it got up to 56% so i wanted to let some of the humidity out so i decided to candle and i see veins!!!! i only candle about 4 or 5 eggs cuz i have to bring them across the hall, but i saw development in the ones that i did candle :D im so happy :jumpy  im not going to touch them again for a few days. i have to sit on my hands :(  i definitely need a candler tho.  my flashlight isnt cutting it.  my hands smell like hardboiled eggs now... is that bad?  my temp has been steady between 99.5 and 100 but last night it was going up to 100,1 or 100.2, it hasnt gone to 101 yet tho, should i be worried?
Yay!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see what our chicks look like!

The top(edge closest to the wall) of mine is warmer than the bottom(edge closest to me when I'm standing over it), so I take the ones that are clustered in the middle and move them to the outer edges, and the outer edges to the middle. The ones from the top half to the bottom half etc..

Thank You. I will do this when I get home. How often do you have to rotate them?

Who else has an extremely dusty house that never seems to be clean. I have a field in front and in back of me, old carpet (like 20 years old, with BF that thinks there is nothing wrong with it

) 3 dogs, 2 cats and a brooder with 3 chicks in it. But once again BF blames chicks.....really. I have been at the dusting thing for an hour, and it appears as soon as I walk away

Okay, for people with a dusty house, I have the cure-all, never dust again secret. Read Carefully all Instructions. Do NOT move any items on shelves, bookcases, dressers, mantles, end tables etc. With all items and decor left in it's place it is much harder to see the dust, therefore eliminating the need to actually dust.Lol! You should hear me when someone moves something..."GREAT, thanks, now I have to dust!!" I live in an old farmhouse with 2 dogs, a cat, and I brood in the house. It's a never ending battle over here, so I officially declare, the dust has won the battle!
