Hatched 8 over the past two days.......and my heating element has gone out .....
I am trying with a heating pad to keep the others going.but not feeling hopeful.............

Got my neighbors hooked on chickens (proud moment

)...they just finished their coop and I go into lockdown in 8 days with 25 eggs for them. They came over to see me candle last night. I love teaching them all the chicken things I have learned here.

Well I have 2 incubators going at the moment. And I finally have a broody chicken. My olive egger girl has went broody. So I guess I will slip some eggs under her.

Lovely weather here in middle Ga :/ . I need ducks instead of chickens and it's supposed to turn to freezing rain later and everything freeze.
