My First Hatch-Along (Character Themed)

I will cheer for egg #3 Bean, please!! Not sure what character you are referring to with that name, but I do love Mr. Bean 🤣
Ahaha it’s from Disenchantment! But Mr. Bean absolutely works too. My husband and I actually met on an online game, and we would have ā€œdate nightsā€ where we hit play on Netflix at the same time. Disenchantment was the show we would watch together every time there was a new episode. 🤭

Going to candle today! Super nervous. I’m really hoping we’ve got at least one or two developing. I’ll post the pics here to get a second opinion because I’m not sure if I’ll know for sure if some are developing and if they’re a ā€œnot gonna happenā€ or a ā€œkeep it in and seeā€! So eggcited!

I can’t believe it! I know there’s still plenty time for things to go wrong, but day 7… we’ve got 8 developers! One has noticeably less movement than the others so keeping a close eye out for day 18 for lockdown, but the others are REALLY moving! We had 21 total shipped and this is our first time ever incubating. I was really nervous!

#15, #7, #21, #9, #10, #16, #2, and #5!

One does seem a little funky - so many veins but I couldn’t really see the developing chick like I could for the others, so leaving that in until it goes one way or the other. I do think I saw movement? But still so new to it that I’m not 100% sure. The clears were very obviously clear, so I’m thankful I picked white eggs for most of them. šŸ˜‚ Even the light brown and green egg were very obvious.

Onto the really active ones!

The air cell on the one below is detached but I’m hoping putting it in the wet incubator will slow the rate just a bit. I’ve moved them all into the same one. Wet had the most living so I merged them into that one! I’ll keep an eye on air cell growth for sure.

this one too was a little funky - but I saw some movement. šŸ¤ž

I didn’t get pics of all of them apparently, but… either way, super excited! I’m hopeful that one or two will still hatch. 🄰 Would love if more, but we will happily take even just one!

The codenames: Pavlovskaya (Loki), Silver Laced Polish (Mononoke), Isbar (Castiel), Silver Laced (Carol), Gold Laced (Chicken Joe), Swedish Flower Hen (Wednesday), Candy Corn Polish (Chihiro), and Gold Laced Polish (ZĆøg) as our kickers!

Ahhhh so exciting! The Candy Corn, Pavlovskaya, Carol, and Chicken Joe were by far the most active. A lot of lovely movement! This has been the most wonderful thing to see the actual development. 🄰 I definitely foresee myself having a hatching addiction. :gig
