Do they say fertile on them?
The only National ones I know of are Whole Foods and Trader Joes.
Small stores that stock eggs from Local egg farms will have fertile eggs too sometimes.

No, they don't say fertile, but the trader joes fertile eggs I bought have been in the incubator 4 days and zero development. I cracked 2 horizon eggs and am on the fence if I see a bullseye. They are the darkest store bought eggs I have ever seen! Should I give them a shot?
I'm hatching Mille Fleur dUccles and hopefully Silkied feathered Ameruacana

Quote: All of my bators are still air. I sit my thermometers on top of the eggs & keep temps there about 102. That puts temps at about 99 at the bottom of the eggs. That seems to work best for my bators.
They are right...102 at the top of the eggs. I incubate with a thermometer laying on the eggs, and on the bottom. Good luck!![]()
You're sounding like Wing, Blarney...Have you 3 been hanging out? I still have Cuckoo D'Anvers & Call Ducks from her last "shopping" night, lol!Ok, it happened again...e-bay + wine!!!....I am blaming MsLadyHawke!! ~This time.
I think I won this auction. I hope if I do,
1). DH does NOT find out
2). The eggs get here in time to hatch.![]()

I was going to suggest you crack open and look for the bull's eye, but I see you are WAY ahead of me.
I am TELLING ya, RON, we need to rename this thread the 'Orpington Hatch Along'Can I join in too?? Thinking of hatching lavender orps, BBS orps! and wanting to find some Jubilees. Anyone have any of these eggs??
Oh WOW! I LOVE this idea!! We had our own bird yesterday, it was lovely. The 23 yr old who recently got her own place could not stop saying, 'Thanks Mom. I REALLY miss your cooking.' Melts my heart….makes those teen years seem like a very distant memory.we have a tv show in Alaska where the young couple raises two turkeys and names them them thanksgiving and Christmas . In my family we talk about what traditions we love and what things we want to make a tradition for the future. Now we want to have a family reunion. for just me and my children and grandchildren. so why not pick a day and have your family over one day for a meal and fill out notes of things you are thankful for and fill a bowl with these notes and go around the table with each person pulling out a note and reading it out loud.
