congrats on everyone's hatching chicks! And I'm sorry to hear about losses
I just had another chick hatch that wasn't shrink wrapped after all its alone tho and I feel bad but when it dries it will have friends I think I still have one more that has yet to pip but it is moving around. the air cell was detatchedand I'm not sure if I will have to intervene or not

Now the problem I am having is that two of them are stuck by the umbilical cord to the shell. Do I snip these off or what do I do?

They will come apart from the shell on there own no need to snip. If you notice a problem then step in. If they are in the incubator leave them be but if they are out and in the brooder you can snip to make it easier.

Incubator is running on the high side on humidity anyway so I can afford to open it. Water is starting to form on the windows. Was asking before I opened so I could do it then.

Well my last egg hatched i have two that don't think made it i tried candling and i didn't see anything in them or any internal pips.

You got a great hatch rate for shipped eggs!

yeah right now 8/12! And one still might pip. I'm very pleased considering i wanted four more chickens lol. so I'll at least get 4 hens if it's 50/50 lol
