Happy to say our chicks are now 6.5 weeks old. We’re pretty sure the one is a Red, but we’re completely baffled with the other chick. It’s feathers are white, and it’s skin is gray/black. We have no white hens. Fingers crossed they’re both hens.

Both are mixed breed. The red one is a cockerel. White one is a pullets.
Awwww man.... this is why I didn’t want to chance hatching any eggs. We already have 2 roosters. Not sure what to do with another. Lol I don’t even know what breed the roosters are bc they were rescues. Thanks for the response.

2x @featheredplanets on the sexing ... What kind of comb does the white one have, possible EE by the color of the legs. The Red looks to have 5 toes, is there a silkie in there somewhere?
What is EE? Sorry, I’m pretty ignorant when it comes to knowing breeds. I didn’t pick these out. They were just brought to the farm. No Silkies.
I looked at charts and it looks like 2 Roosters that are Reds. Hens: we have 7 Reds, 2 Ameraucanas, 3 Barred Plymouth Rocks, 2 Black Astralorps, and 1 Buff Orpington. The Buff was separated from the rest during the time the eggs were gathered.
