Agreed; the one on the left in the top pic and in the second pic is a cockerel. The one on the right in the top pic and in the bottom pic is a pullet. Your boy should make a nice rooster for breeding with your girls. )

I honestly hope he is a boy, I need breeding stock anyways.  I have 5 RIR cockerels and 5 Black Jersey Giant cockerels that are 4-5 weeks old and I can start to see the difference there as well.  I am almost positive he is a boy, but just wanted some other opinions.  Thanks!

I guess JG's are popular here I'm in Wichita and i grabbed a misc pullet out of a bin at Atwoods.... To my surprise it is a JG. I have a hen, but I'd love to pair her up with a roo at some point

Well, just to let everyone know, it was a cockerel. He just let out his first pitiful crows this morning LOL. I thought one of my dogs was yelping, but it was just him...

Young crows are, um shall I say, just practicing.

They should get better as time goes on. I have a young cockerel who's crowing; he does good until the last syllable at which he makes it last forever. I think the crows are getting shorter, or maybe I'm just getting used to him.
