so my girls have been spending the days outside since it's been 65-70 lately. Tonight is going to get down to 45... all next week looks like highs in the 80's with lows in the mid 50's. I was going to move them out tomorrow permanently, but would it be ok to leave them out tonight, or is that still too cold. I have 8 girls.. 2 of them at 7 weeks and the rest at 6 weeks. We have a Garden Coop if that helps so you know my set up.

They will be fine. I live in Michigan and I had my 6 week olds outside and it got down in the 20s. At 7 weeks they should be feathered and they will keep warm. :)

I'm constantly thinking (worrying) about this. Last week I quit giving my chicks their heat lamp during the day but I've still been doing it at night

after getting up twice in the night to check on them..and seeing them sleeping on the perch, i relieved they were just fine.. I think I was more worried than they were! LOL.
