Ahhh, spent a lovely afternoon at the barn, cleaning my tack and watching my 2 get their feet trimmed. Then nice to come home and clean out the coop and spend time with the girls. -the girls in the yard.
Ok I am caught up...Really ugly chicken...talkin smack...chick stealin...and wine dots...Wishing I could bid...Maybe I need a second bator already...HMMM
Sorry I am having withdrawal from lack of internet access during the storm.
Not to hijack ever further than we usually do ( you said you did not mind
)but...looking for opinions. Since I am surrounded by egg sharks i thought there would be some experieced hatchers here
. I am about to set the eggs that were on the counter for an extra 2 days due to power outage!..
How do you think I should separate them for lockdown...I know just a few days away and all (only 21
)
I have 12 FBCM
15 Welsummers
12 Moltted Javas
6 Pure cochins
4 Dark Olice eggs
5 VERY dark BCM/Olive eggs
I have made little fences for my bator which worked great on the last hatch. But on that batch I did not have so many kinds. I am worried about telling them apart once they all start popping out of those eggs. Thoughts. Anyone have insight on the ones who will look THE MOST different and they could go together in a section?
