Not the greatest pictures, but hopefully you can see what I'm talking about. 6 day old BCM chick, breeder said she had an unabsorbed yolk sac. She is the runt of the flock and spends more time under the heater than the others but I do see her out eating, drinking and exploring. I thought she had pasty butt yesterday, but when I got her out she had a massive poo (like 3x the size of everyone else's) before I could clean her. I saw her poop this morning, but she looked blocked up again tonight so this time I did clean her off and noticed her vent appears to be protruding a bit. She is not struggling to pass anything and other than her poops being large they look normal. I'm trying to not handle her too much so I don't stress her out more. I've looked up vent prolapse and treatments, but hers doesn't seem so severe so I'm wondering if I should be taking any action or just keep an eye on it and make sure she doesn't get blocked. Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance!

I would keep an eye on it. Where on her body is it? Are you positive that that is her vent? I would wait a few days and see if it gets worse. Put something on it to prevent it from drying out. I’ve heard some people use coconut oil or Vaseline.

Yes I'm positive. It's just below the base of her tail. It's not just a lump. There's an opening and it's pulsing. And its where the poop was stuck. Thank you so much for replying! I will get something on her asap.
