6 day old chick with head tilt

Thank you!! Your picture gives me hope! I will keep you posted on my "wry's" progress!!

How is your little wry doing? Any improvement? One thing that was not mentioned was wry neck can take a month or longer to cure so don't loose hope. Trust me on this. I've had my share of wry neck silkies. all had recovered except one that got a second case of wry neck. (Yes it can return some times). I used the vitamin regiment with predinsone on mine that recovered.i wouldn't recommend predinsone for the baby only vitamins. I just wanted to say sometimes it seems worse before it gets better.be faithful with the vitamins.it can take a month or even longer. hangin there. Don't give up.i hope things turn out good.

Seems a bit better. He/she is able to stand with the tilted head and walk. I have been syringing water/pellet gruel every couple of hours, plus the vitamins. Still looks perky and feisty. I will give you an update in the morning.

This morning, little wry was standing up with just a little tilt. It looks better, like when I first noticed it. (Then is got worse, twisting all the way around and falling) I put him in with the rest of the chicks since he is walking. How long to I continue the vitamins??

I don't know how long to continue the vitamins, but I am glad your little one is gaining in strength and back with his group.

You need to continue with the vitamins for a month or longer. It took my wrys all a good month straight before they were cured. Hope this helps.
