Both of my leghorn girls are laying very good right now even my almost 3 year old give is giving me an egg a day. We have a ton of eggs in the fridge and it just seems like these are going to waste not to be hatched!
I can safely do 6 eggs maybe even more depending on if someone wants them.
My youngest hen lives outside in the bantam coop but during the day she's kept with the Leghorn rooster Kernal. I've never seen the bantam rooster mate with her EVER! He just chases her away when she gets to close if he's having a bad day. The other 2 leghorns the rooster and the oldest hen are inside birds.
