6 little eggs.

My six little eggs are all still resting in the incubator. I am thinking I will start turning them Thursday. That will be 5 days of rest from shipping 36 hours room temp and the rest in the incubator. I hope that seems ok for Muscovy eggs I have heard they can be a bit tricky.

Here's a few pics. Is she in right position and I miss pep?

I only feel bad that those little guys failed because I didn't have better knowledge, a better game plan and was paying more attention. Work got in the way, next time I'll plan out the hatch better on a calendar so the are supposed to pep during a slower time of the week for me. I got a line on 8 free Muscovy that are from same hatch as the solo one I have now I may pick up tonight or Thursday.

Congratulations! You’re very lucky to have someplace to go for ducklings. I have to hatch mine.

I never planned mine out and I had a huge need to assist in the hatching. So I am only really used to seeing malpositioned ducklings. They didn’t look malpositioned to me. The one didn’t look like it made it past the membrane.

For me with my work schedule I alway up humidity right at the three days before hatch unless I see the internal pipping going on. Then again I am a candling junky, so it has worked out for me. Going to be so hard to wait another 34 days!
