If you can have a mini pig (which is way easier than a dog) I highly suggest getting one. They are the best pets. Smart as a whip. Low maintenance. And they luv people.

when i get my own place i plan on having a couple minis or PB's as pets/plows...infact i plan to name them tonka truck and mr.Plow

i also want old spots as meat piggies...i LOVE pigs!

Ours are PB's. Lilly doesn't plow much but she luvs to scratch her back on my tractor tires.
