6 mo old hen injured leg

Wyorp Rock. She is still eating and drinking. I did a Epsom salt soak and pulled out what did appear to be a scab with a core. No puss or other sign of infection...matter of fact the scab was much smaller then i previously saw. She is drinking and eating but is definitely lame. There was a core as I saw the hole down into the foot. Doctored it with antibiotic ointment and wraped. She will not stand but is very alert eats and drinks will sit for short period in nesting position with leg laid out in front of her..then lays on her side one wing spread to hold balance. I was doing everything one handed so no photos but will try and post some tonight or tomorrow.

I'm sorry she's not improving.
You may want to try the vitamins suggested previously.
I'm sorry about your pullet.
What are you feeding?

You can try offer her 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily to see if that helps.
(B12 is not B-Complex)
Could she have been pecked on the head?

At her age, I would still consider Marek's as the cause of leg issues. https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/the-great-big-giant-mareks-disease-faq.66077/

Wyorp Rock right now I am giving her grow for the extra protein (organic non medicated) I will pick up some B complex today while out..Do I just crush and add to food..or syringe feed it) is there a specific milligram I need? Checked on her this morning before I left for work to make sure she had plenty of water and food. Same as yesterday. No worse no better...I am clueless.

You can just pick up human B-Complex tablet at WalMart, CVS, etc.
You can just give her the 1/4 tablet (pop it in her beak and let her swallow), crush it up and add it to her feed or dissolve it in a very small amount of water and syringe it into her.

Personally I prefer to either give the piece of the tablet directly or syringe it. That way I know they got the vitamins. Sometimes birds may not eat all the food.

After coming home tonight and checking on her and doing some more reading today I now believe this is Merks.
She is lame, legs spread out one in back the other to the front and warm to the touch..it was 105 here today and she was outside so not 100 % sure what the warmth is from temp or just heat. She was eating and drinking this morning and very alert, but looks pretty bad right now. Her head is limp and flops when picked up from side to side like she can't control it not like she is dying (I really hope she is gone by morning). Feet will not curl around my finger, will set in a nesting position only if I place her that way then she falls over to her left side feet spread out. Also pooh around her vent area..
I unbandaged her foot and it looks good put antibiotic ointment on it but I doubt that is the issue. I got her and the others back in May she was 3.5 mo and the others were 4.5 mo poultry house said they had been vaccinated. None of the other show any signs of illness but from what I understand I may not be out of the woods yet. I will transition her tomorrow if she is still alive in the morning, as she can't go on like this.
I will scrub the coop best I can, rake out what I can and spray the ground. Best I can do is use bleach unless there is something I can get at tractor supply and hope for the best. I know Merks is highly contagious and more then likely the rest have been exposed via dandra and pooh so just hoping they have built up an immunity by now...maybe when they got vaccinated this one was missed. I don't know where it came from there are no other chickens around we live in town, I am clueless.
My question is if I use bleach the coop, how long do my other 3 hens need to be out of the coop while that drys? Or can they stay in there? Thanks for your help.

Update 719am 8/28/20 This is driving me crazy..she appears fine today other then lame. Feet look good, eyes clear, poop normal. Breathing fine and alert. Just cant bare weight and walk. Butt still dirty need wash it off...

I'm sorry she's not getting better.

Bleach is not going to kill Marek's. It's in the dust, dander and feathers. It can live for years in the environment. Some folks use Virkon S, but I'm not sure how effective it is.
The vaccine can help stop the formation of tumor, but it does not prevent infection from the virus - so she can still become symptomatic regardless of vaccination or not.

If it is Marek's, then all have been exposed. A lot of times, the best you can do is manage symptoms the best you can or cull birds that become symptomatic.

If you put her down or she passes, then sending the body to your state lab for a diagnosis would give you peace of mind - while it doesn't necessarily change much, at least you will have a definitive answer and can move forward from there.

This article is still one of the best I have read about Marek's disease. There's plenty of technical research articles on the web you can mine through too if you are so inclined.

Wyorp Rock How long do you think before I might see an improvement?

I washed her vent area today she had 2 good size BM's looked normal. I gave her some scrambled egg and spinach..she ate 2 bites and a few bites of feed drank some water. Seams alert but still the same. I don't think she is eating nearly enough.
