My rooster is becoming too agressive for my wife and 8 yr old. He has a tendency to jump and scratch with his nails. He's not a problem to me and most likely would not be to an experienced chicken person. He is very good/protective with his hens and has not yet caused any harm to the hens feathers through mating excessively. He is free to a good home. I would prefer he not be dinner but, that is your choice.
Also, I would like to add a couple more hens (6-9 month) to my coop. Plymouth Rock or similar breed. Any for sale?
