6 month old roo not crowing?

We are pretty new to our flock and have found a lot of great info on here! So, does anyone know about when a rooster will start crowing. Our guy is a little over 6 months old, very sweet and mild compared to a lot of rooster stories I have read. But I haven't even heard him try to crow?

Hi. Its pretty normal... my Australorp only started crowing a week ago and is now 6 months old... it can take up to 8 months or longer depending on breeds.

It all depends on the Breed and the Rooster....I have a Brahma/Ameruacana he is just 6 months and started to crow last week...He only crows a few times when I let him out in the morning....He is a docile Rooster....
