6 months old

Just realized my chicks from September are now 6 months old and no eggs, the roosters are not trying to breed the hens either, they all have small combs, should I be worried?

what breed are they? i've had some breeds wait almost 8 months before starting to lay.

this isn't exact, but based on my and others experience, this is kinda what i've seen
silkies- 7-9 months old
polish- 6 months sometimes, 8-9 months more common, some wait a whole year
campines- not as familiar with this breed, but i think they are usually in the 6-7 month range

Watch their combs go from pale pink to bright red and for them to begin "playing house" and making a mess in the nest boxes. Then you can be fairly certain eggs are not very far from happening. It shouldn't be long now! Hang in there!

I noticed today that the roosters were trying to mate the hens, I also have some polish that are 9 months old and still haven't laid eggs either
