Ok,so I’m a new member here, but have a few questions about my 6 week old chick. It was born from a blue egg..my other chicken got broody and started sitting on my other chickens egg,the other chicken sat on 3 eggs here at home that was brought from my mother in law’s because she has a Roo.my other chicken hatched 2 chicks…when the first chick was born she didn’t want it and attacked it,the day after I found it had died because of the cold wooden floor in the hut, when 7 days after I noticed the other egg had a hole in it so straight away put the egg in a box with a lamp and helped it hatch..so here I am after 6 weeks.I really hope I don’t have a roo has I had 2 before and they got aggressive I also have a 8 year old and they wasn’t good with him they both attacked my son and jumped up at him so I had to get rid and just keep my chickens.Enough about me the questions I have are…1) can someone help me with what type of chicken it is?
2) does anyone know what sex it will be?🤞
3) if it does turn out to be a roo with it be gentle with my son? Because at the moment,at night and during the day it’s very quiet likes attention eg cuddles and sitting on people and when I let it out in the garden free loves to explore, dig,eat all the insects it finds and follows me about 😌 hope someone can help with some answers and advice has anything would be a really good help.sorry about the post been a bit long
Thank you ☺️ here some pictures of my chick it’s called snow.

Beautiful chick! im thinking its a pullet, but not 100% sure. it really depends on the individual chicken wether theyll be agressive or not, wether a hen or roo, but if they have a good temperament now you have a higher chance of them being friendly full grown!
That’s false. Chickens change completely when they hit puberty. You have no idea what their personality will be like after the hormonal changes.

Here’s a close up of its comb, hope this helps.
