6 week old chicks chirping non stop

They are ready to be moved out to the coop. Mine were chirping NON STOP at 5/6 week mark and showing other signs of needing out of my house and into their own house (coop). They are probably getting restless. Once I put them out in the coop they calmed immediately.

Awesome they'll be out tomorrow then, its just been so cold I was worried.

I was worried about that too. I'm in northeast. But I put their heat lamp out there for them. They huddle under it if need be.

They don't need the heat lamp. The heat lamp scares me and if it doesn't scare you, It should. Did you see my post above? Your birds will be warmer than mine, without using that well-meant deathtrap on them--unless you're in Siberia. They're way tougher than you think.

I agree with CindyinSD. I'm in MT and mine go out at 4 weeks with no heat.

I agree, they're bored teenagers and need to get out of the house! And don't buy them cell phones whatever you do!

I assume they're completely off heat and have been for a while? They should be feathered enough and ready to go out.
