I would yesI have 3 chicks that are fully feathered at almost 5 weeks. I want them to go outside so badly, but I’m hesitant with our night temps in the mid 40’s. During the day it’s been averaging 60s and 70s. Should I wait until 6 weeks?

My chicks are outside from the start. For the first time, I tried a MHP. It was awesome! They are now 4 weeks old, mostly fully feathered and weaned themselves off the heat. If your chicks will be in a coop where they are protected from the elements and won't have a draft blowing directly on them, they will be fine. Make them a huddle box or wool hen to go under if it makes you feel better.I have 3 chicks that are fully feathered at almost 5 weeks.
