6 week old ducks

They will be just fine. Plus there are six of them to snuggle each other if they get cold.

We are outside now but haven’t had a night outside yet!

My ducks are 6 weeks old and completely off heat. Tonight is their first night outside but the low temp is going to be 46. Will that be too cold for them?

What type of set up do you have?

Mine are 5 weeks TODAY. Happy B-day ducks!!! Well anyway....how old should they be when I let them out? We live in Tennessee. The weather is amazing(like today) one day, and the next is rainy and muddy...maybe even cold.

I think they will be fine. Ducks can handle the cold pretty well but they can't tolerate heat very well. At 6 weeks they should have quite a bit of feathers to keep themselves warm.

Ok thanks..we have not built there thing yet. In the time we are building they can get a bit more feathers.

I agree. They would be fine as long as you have shelter for them. They love the rain and mud.
