6 week old ee's

A male with that color pattern genetics at that age would be likely forming dark breast feathers preparing to mature into a blackbreasted red type pattern. So this is likely a pullet.

Thanks everyone! I was told they were both pullets, but when I was holding this one today and noticed it's comb looked like it was a bit thick on the sides, I started to wonder.

Don't they grow so fast?! I'm shocked at how fast they've grown.

Looks like a pullet to me, too

I say pullet too. Our EE (Obama, named by DH just after the election) also had a very wide comb at a very young age. I thought for the longest time it would be a roo, but then when the other boys started really getting the big red combs and hers just sorta sat there not doing much, we figured she was a pullet. Her feathering has all come in and we're pretty darned confident on the gender now at 20 weeks.
