6 week old mixes. Do they look like boys or girls?

bcgj, is my guess for your lil roos. but I don't think it would be fair of you to give anyone a roo unless they specifically want 1

I wouldnt give the roosters away! I dont want to give a few hens away, and be left with only roosters!!


So Leg thickness and comb size is the only way to really tell gender at this age...
My last hatch is for sure 2/3 roosters, possibly 3/3.. and I didnt want to end up with all roosters this hatch too!

I think it is too early to tell. I'd wait until there is some comb/wattle development and then post new pictures.

Wierd, I have some 5 week old buff orpingtons and they are developing wattles and have large combs.

I think B, C, J, and G are cockerels. The others are looking girly right now.

Your roo looks like he could have some Silkie somewhere in there -- purple skin.

They seem kinda young yet but I thinks that B,D,C,J,F,G could be possible boys. But I would wait and post again in a bit when they are a little older. Again what cuties!!
