6 week old Speckled sussex

Phoebe is a 6 week (almost 7 week) old speckled sussex and we were told she was a hen when we got her at 1 week. We are hoping that shes a hen but not too sure at this moment. Wondering if anyone knows anything about sussex's and could help us out.

Looks female. My little SS cockerel had a lot of white and a much larger comb and wattles at around the same age.

I'm not as experienced as most folks here, but I'd guess yours is a pullet based on my 6-week-old speckled sussex cockerel (on the right next to the salmon favorelles cockerel). Mine was supposed to be a pullet, but I've been suspecting he was a male for weeks now due to looks and behavior.
