6 Year old speckled Sussex laid a shell-less egg

Could it be from getting old? I think she's got another at least 2 years in her, but I don't mind if she stops laying, she's a pet :) . She was acting a bit lethargic and uninterested in treats for a short while, then she laid this egg and immediately started acting a little better
 
What's her diet? It's likely her age.
16% layer feed before, butttt we did just switched to flock raiser 20% protein, since we have a cockerel now. With oyster shells on the side that they gobble up..or someone does


I know with my dogs it's good to transition new foods slowly..but I didnt really do that with the chickens D: Should I have?

Probably going to be tough to check, but keep an eye on her to see if she's actually eating the oyster shell.

Yes and no. It would be ideal to do a gradual transition but I admit I don't do that because unlike most dogs, chickens will push aside everything they don't want (i.e. new unfamiliar feed) and eat only what they feel like, if given a choice.
