My question is, is she too old to keep giving her calcium gloconate ? I gave it twice this week so far and it seemed to help then she went back to going off to a far corner of the yard and laying there kind of pulsating like she is trying to lay an egg and then she lays another soft one, hmmm. I have 2 of my ducks doing this lately. they just started back up laying after winter break. Maybe she is too old for me to keep gving calcium gloconate and I should just let her go though some kind of duck-menopause? They always have oyster shell available and they eat mazuri waterfowl feed and nutrena allflock. I recently added 2 chickens into the duck flock so the ducks are a bit stressed, yes.

If you have two ducks suddenly having laying issues and it started shortly after adding chickens I think you are right in the chickens stressing them out. Sometimes it takes more than just a dose or two to see results. I would dose her every day for a week and see if that works.
