So glad you managed to save her! When she lays her first egg I will probably cry lol. This is her “before.” I expected I’d have to put her down, she couldn’t walk, so the thought of her laying her first egg soon is crazy

Wow she's beautiful! Her feathers look like they glow. I do see what you mean about the comb. I hope my pullet lays soon! I wasn't expecting her first until spring, but I'm having really warm weather where I live, so its possibleHere are a couple more of her as a pullet.View attachment 2440677View attachment 2440678View attachment 2440679
Awww, sweet henThis is Flynn. I still can’t decide wether she is a boy or girl! She’s six months old so I should be able to tell but she suffered a major setback at 6 weeks, almost starved to death becuase of the cross beak. I rescued her, and She didn’t walk for two months after that, but she is now able to, and has been “normal” for a couple of months now.
Because of her unconventional life, she is just now starting to catch up. At the moment she is about 3 pounds, and the size of a three month EE. When I got her she was a tiny 5 oz.
Her comb to looks large like a roo, and her tail feathers look long and they are very green, but her neck feathers are not long and thin and she doesn’t have saddle feathers.
What do you guys think?

Could you post some pictures of her eggs when she starts? She looks as if she could start to lay any day now.
