Whatcha Making for Supper?

A note about the Turkey Tetrazzini recipe, in case you try it, @pac .

Pioneer Woman must be feeding a lot of people and trying to stretch her food dollar. So, number one, use less pasta. Number two, I cut the recipe in half and it will still make 2 or 3 dinners for us. I have a big container of it in the freezer now. And finally, number three, do not use Kalamata olives unless you really love Kalamata olives. lol That was all I had, but I should have just left olives out in that case. They are too strong and overpower the other more delicate flavors of this dish. However, DH loved it because he loves Kalamata.

Thanks again.
I was going to halve it and not use any olives. Maybe add carrots, as that is what the ex's brother used.

And I love Kalamata olives. I keep some on hand for puttanesca and always eat them right out of the jar while making :)

Carrots are a good addition to this recipe.

Tonight I'm making that Turkey TetREEzini recipe @ValerieJ posted. Mostly. No olives and the addition of carrots. I'm making a half lasagna pan's worth.

Everything is messed in place and the pasta cooked. It's only six here. Too early to eat yet.

Almost forgot. The local store did not have a brick of Monterrey jack. The goofballs. So I'm using a brick (1/2c) of Colby jack, with includes Monterrey. It tastes pretty bland anyway, but the orange tint might be different 😳
