I'm hoping by now pretty much everyone has their eggs set? Im working on staying busy...all I want to do is go stare at the bator. I love feeling the eggs all warm. Just turned mine today. Was waiting due their long trip to me.
Off to outside....the big birds

need some attention too..and the goats.

I'm not poking at my eggs much this time... Just had a hatch last week so, it's easier not to be to anxious... Plus I'm gunning for 100% hatch rate this time lol...

I set BBS Australorps(Blue black splash) and Trader Joes Leghorn eggs yesterday.

The incubator and humidity pump are working so far. I hope I have the tubing wound correctly this time on the pump.

Do you have a commercial incubator/pump or is it a DIY? If it was a commercial one, which one did you get? Curious what someone who does this a lot uses!

My son just came home from GA..and for some reason, says the same thing about Alabama..? 

hes totally right. And the University of Alabama pretty much keeps an excellent football team. Roll Tide.

I have the humidity pump that comes with the octagon ex advance series. It makes things so easy for hatching.

I set eggs in the bator on Thursday but it looks like I will also have my first broody. My wife told me not to but I looked under the hen. She is sitting on 4 eggs and the good news is I finally got the bleeding to stop. Who knew that gentle girl could peck that hard. I should probably listen to my wife more often.
