I've read the same thing (19 days) but Ron said they are often late... I think that's what he said... I have standard and bantam in the bator too.

Silkies are often a day early--other bantams can be on time or later. The average time to hatch is a breed thing and not an egg size thing.

Marans can take a day or two longer--I have heard about 25 days but I am fairly sure the persons incubator was set too low.

Im on day 11 with my christmas eggs! Im gonna either candle or pass....BECAUSE I GOT MY PREMIUM ONE BROODER TODAY!! I cant wait to un-pack it! Ill send pics of me unpacking! @starlingdaly is gonna compare my temp to her brinsea SO EGG-CITED

Man, I wish I was going to keep hatching, but I won't be hatching again until the Easter Hatch A Long. Did you pick another number? She just learned in science about the different kinds of fertilization. Hence the word "internal". Too funny!

OH MY GOSH THIS IS GREAT rofl! I made my family sign a document anout me setting eggs last year for "no tampering" and such lol
