6th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2015 Hatch-A-Long

Have 23 dozen collected this week. So ready for the 11th!!

I'm catching up after being away, so a bit late to this post, but....OMG, 23 DOZEN!?! How big is your incubator(s)?

We only have one mature Roo (a few up and coming) but goodness do my hens put up a fight. The roo is a huge Blue Copper Marans and he still fails half the time to get the hens. My hens don't do the squat thing for him.... they just get away!

I am going to joining the party too! ... I got my incubator ready and my eggs should arrive next week. . My kids and I (specially me) are really excited about new chicks!!!!.. I got my eggs from Papas Poultry!.. I am so excited! .. this will be my first time hatching.. So try to to keep up with all of you guys!

What kind did you get? I've been so tempted to order fro Papas...he has a great selection.

AWAOME! Looks good. Just don't do like me and rush into it. Make sure you can control temp and humitity. Good luck!!

I had it running for the last two days without it being seated into place it was running a consistent 102.. have inserted everything and have it in perm positions now.. it's running a consistent 100 to 99 am doing test run on it until thursday just to tweak n geek with it temp is holding great though

The egg farmer I hatch for has the big premier1. He likes them and they worked great for him.

OK, I've caught up on the thread...whew! So exciting to see some of the chicks that people are hatching.

My eggs shipped today...so now I'm stalking the tracking number...can't wait to get the bantam Cochin eggs here!
