I won an auction for Blue Australorps(Thanks) but the have not shipped yet.

I may be forced to get some Trader Joes Fertile eggs.

Well, thank you! Looks like I'll be setting Marans (black copper and blue copper), as that's who's laying at the moment. Kaylish above had a good point - we too are forecast for widespread power outages due to a storm between late Wednesday and Friday - I guess we'll see how we fare....

Cant set any eggs in my bator for new years since its already in use for my christmas hatch, but i think its close enough for me to still say im a part of new years theyre due to hatch on the 26th.

BTW, nothing wrong with TJ eggs. I may pick up some today myself. If you do go to Trader Joe's ask the clerk if they have anything fresher in the back...they usually do!

Still no eggs here. Looks like I will just be an observer this year. My girls are still uncooperative from the move.

  Surely someone local to you has eggs you could hatch! 

I have no vehicle to go search the neighborhood & just moved here. Would be happy to swap with someone if they wanted to donate a few. I have homemade soaps & bathsalts...or eggs once my birds get back in gear (polish, silkie/sizzle, call ducks, ancona ducks, heritage turkeys & raindow layers.)

After much bribing one of my BCM's finally layed me an egg. So I will set that one, hoping for one tomorrow or Thursday morning too. *rubs hands together*
I've been messing wit my incubator since yesterday. It is at 99.3 ans 36% humidity. I want those both to go up a tinsy bit right?

The breeders are not laying well yet. The Arkansas blues are young and the Partridge Penedesencas are on strike!

I really hope that the Blue australorp eggs get here!
