6th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2015 Hatch-A-Long

Your blue/green eggs are EASIER to see into?  My blue, green and olive eggs are a nightmare to see anything in!!  Most times I can just see the air cell and can tell if something is growing inside or not and that is it.

My last green(ish) eggs where very hard to see much in... But the single EE egg I've got going this is very is easy to see inside...Maybe it's a shell thickness thing...

Worst hatch winner gets this home made chewing tobacco (im keeping the bucket). Its fireplace ashes mixed with cigarette butts....im pretty sure my son threw a hot wheels grave digger truck in there too

Cute baby ducks! I have a couple of pullets out there that are sounding like ducks now..their voices are changing..pretty funny sound coming from a chicken.

Definitely a shell thickness thing for me at least. The eggs from my RSL girls are really thick while most of the blue/green eggs I've gotten from the neighbor are pretty thin in comparison. The sky blue ones are clear as a window when I candle them. I will try to take some pics on Thursday when I take them out for candling.
