6th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2015 Hatch-A-Long

Counted 98 participants. 2360 eggs reported as being set.

Sounds like a lot of eggs but that is just an average of 24.08 eggs per participant.

Are my numbers correct?

There was only 75 Participants when I guessed and I figured 35 eggs per so I was 265 eggs over ................DANG-IT I'm with @bamadude I demand a recount

Cool I won!! Thank you!! Thank you!!
Congrats...

I have a light for each breeder pen but maybe it was not enough.

The smell is strong but actually seeing the feat is interesting, interesting to see the coordination to be able to hit his own face. But personally I find it funnier when he tests the does urine. The faces he makes while drinking their urine are so hilarious.

Come now my info can't be as bad as someone drumming up images of various candling outfits.
That said, I'll keep my goat info a secret for a while.

LOL It is what it is. Bucks can be gross lol and while I have never witnessed a buck in rut I have heard plenty of stories. I also hear how wonderfully sweet bucks are and once you have them you can t live with out them.

What type of goats do you have? I have Nigerians.

It is not required but we do like to see how things are going. :fl Good luck all! Soon we will have
Ahhh. :love are the black & whites Pita Pinta chicks?
How about the AL eggs? I have apparent good news. My HAL broody will probably get something out of those horribly packed shipped eggs. I couldn't see enough NOT going on to ditch any of them will look again on Sat or Mon.
:celebrate Yea!
If I had candled, I might have seen some veins there too. They are darker though--
:thumbsup
The winner of the number of eggs set contest is: @michaelf with a guess of 2247. 2360 eggs were reported as being set for the hatch a long.

I have Nubians. One is black with glazed ears the other is brown with glazed ears. Then I have a younger Oberhasli. She acts very much like a deer. The buck is Nubian. Originally I hopes of getting by without a buck. Turns out that young does are hard to AI and renting was not really an option in my area as Bio Security is preached long and hard here.
