Candled my eggs...for chicken eggs i saw 3 clears so 3 our of 11. For muscovy eggs i saw 3-4 clear out of 12 on shipped eggs but i can't pick them up to look better until day 10 and this is only day 5/6 so i will check again sunday and see if i see anything better.

I am very happy to see muscovy ducks in the hatch a long!

The egg will be sticky and goo will be coming out of it.

If left, they will spoil the hatch and sometimes explode.

No, I said that I had the full video bookmarked but I was wrong, I had both of the ones I listed bookmarked but in my mind had thought they were both part of the same video. lol Thanks for the new link though! I am always interested in watching videos of chicks forming and/or hatching!

OMG I am freaking out. Anyone who knows me on Facebook please tell no one, not even husband knows yet! (Thinking Christmas shocker as we have 4 already....)



So while my chicken HAL eggs don't seem to be doing well, this human one sure does!

What's a BWA?

Cannot find it in the BYC abbreviations index

Nevermind.   Got it when I googled it.

So now I'm intrigued... BWA is the city code for Baltimore Washington Airport, not sure what it stands for in the poultry world.
