so a quick question for all you.

both of my chicks I hatched on Christmas/Christmas eve have been sneezing. the first day they were in the brooder was hen it started and its not as frequent now. they eat and drink a ton so I know they seem to be healthy...could they be sneezing from the pine chips I have as their bedding?

editing because just as I typed this and send this MY BLACK CHICK CROWED HAHAHAHA ROFL

(sorry, I have no idea about the sneezing)

Thank you Cynthia12! I love the NN's, too. My first did not have a bow tie, just a ridiculous toupee. My second has the most amazing bow tie - really more of a stole. This little one looks like it might have a bow tie, too. Ah, cute! This clutch was a real mix of eggs so I was not entirely sure what I would end up with. To get another NN is just such a treat.

The last 2 emerged from their egg just before dark tonight. I'm happy to report 10 out of 10. I'm so relieved!

Congrats on a very successful hatch!!!! Your photos are adorable!!

I have a pip. What? And it isn't from one of my small bantam eggs, it's an EE egg. There is shell laying on the floor, can't see the pip, so it's on the bottom side.

I like your way of thinking! I just checked again because it's been about 5 minutes since the last time and a second egg has pipped. A silkie this time. This is like Christmas except the presents unwrap themselves!

LOL..ok, going to see if one of my silie/sizzle eggs has pipped now. Flashing a light on them can get them going. Just hope it isn't too soon. I know I had that temp up a little warmer at times with this batch.
