Thanks!
Oops has got that eyeliner and a grey racing stripe all the way down her back and feathered feet. That stinkin' cute, I cannot be too upset that she's not the BLRW she was supposed to be (hence her name of Oops. Hen came from a pen with a Brahma roo, but even after 6 weeks of isolation he was a pretty potent super dude...Seller was amazed/appalled/astounded). And, if feather-sexing works for this chick, she's a girl. But being Brahma x Wyandotte, I predict extreme broodiness. A large broody.

Does your seller have the BLRW in a pen with the correct roo now? I am looking for those birds as hatching eggs, do you have contact info?

@Peep_Show Cute chicks, nice picture! Sorry you only got the 2.

Hatching has been a challenge, but I'm getting my flock piecemeal. And whereas hatching (heck, even embryos) was sparse this batch of eggs, I have 32 eggs in the incubator going strong. It waxes and wanes and the NYD HAL wasn't as successful as other hatches. But I am VERY pleased with the results as a lot of the eggs were longshots anyway.
