Hi all, tomorrow will be the 5th day on Corid. I have a mix of one and two week old chicks. Meyer recommended an additional 7-14 days at a lower amount/gallon, but I also see recommendations to stop at 5, do another round of 5 days in a week, etc. I've seen no additional signs of bloody poop other than the very first day, and having lost a chick a few days before that to lethargy. Chicks are active and eating. I'm worried about nutrition. Should I keep going, do I add a waterer with Hydro-Hen or NutraDrench...? Any thoughts, since they're so young, are appreciated!

Pics of poop this evening.

I would do what the hatchery told you because they are so small. I have done the break in between with older chicks but maybe there is a difference when you have younger chicks and it won't hurt them

Per the FDA and the manufacturer, this is the dose:
The Correct Amprolium Dose
Treatment20% Powder9.6% Liquid
For 3-5 days1.5 teaspoons per gallon2 teaspoons per gallon
then for 7-14 days1/3 teaspoon per gallon1/2 teaspoon per gallon

You don't want to give vitamins because corid works by inhibiting thiamine absorption so giving any vitamins that contain that will just make the corid useless

Any thoughts on the 7-14 day range? That's a big time range/gap.
