I have four identical white chickens. At what age will they look different? Can't name them if I can't tell who they are.

I have four identical white chickens. At what age will they look different? Can't name them if I can't tell who they are.

What breed(s) are the birds? Many breeds, especially solid colored birds, will always look so similar that differentiating them can be difficult. What might help is to mark each bird (you can use leg bands, zip ties for leg bands, paint a toe nail, make a non-toxic mark on the tops of the heads, etc) so that you can tell them apart and then you can name them.

They are Rhode Island Red leghorn mix. The others are dark brown, black speckled and a golden brown.
