im not trying to dis your set up or not u might be abetter pro at this then me but the newspaper you are using for the floor cover is really slippery and it could cause spraddle leg or worse, but if you know what your are doing go ahead and do the dang thing well good luck and happy lives to all your chicks

ok i was just looking out for the chicks lol they are so cute i got 2 of my own right now 1 born today and 1 yesterday i got 3 more pips i cant wait

It's amazing how those little fuzzy butts just love to sit and poop in their grower feed.

Cute chicks... and I know it's expensive, but paper towel is better for the brooder... it's what I use for the first 3 or 4 weeks and add pine shavings as they get older.

They are ADORABLE!! I would worry if they were dead all the time. How do you not panic and go crazy? I would....

I dont know, I read about how they will fall asleep suddenly and you will think the pass away but I haven't worried about it. I am just so glad that they had a good hatch.

We are definetly positive that one of the yellow chickens that is a new born, (Yesterday) is a cochin. it has fuzzy feet and we named it Elsie. hehe. It's a sweetie.
