I just got these girls 3 days ago, 7.5- 8 week old blue orpington pullets. Not any red on comb, some pink, but little red on wattles on both. Are these girls?

    1st girl is Patsy:

I hoped so too, they look like pullets, but wanted to feel sure, thanks!

They may look like pullets now, but I'd keep a close eye on them I've found Blue and Splash Orps in particularly hard to guess. I don't know if it just how slow they mature but they have tricked me in the past. This is my Splash Orpington at 8 weeks old, I was sure he was a she but when he started sprouting hackle feathers when he was older, I knew I had a boy. So keep an eye on them.

Hey, my orp looks very similar at that age. What did you end up with? Pullets or roos?
