Yep, I agree... All black feathers, on all birds will sheen. Its not a gender specific thing.Anyone know how normal it is to have blue & green sheen on hens?

All the Brahma chicks I got were from a lady working on coloured Brahmas. Blue, black & blue partridges I think.
They are beautiful birds even if all turn out to be cockerels which I can’t keep lol.
